The Chaffey Joint Union High School District would like to inform our students and families about a few exciting upcoming college and career fairs.
The first is the 12th Annual Latino College Expo taking place on Saturday, September 13 from 10am-2pm at the University of LaVerne. This event is free for all students and families and Seniors are encouraged to bring 10-15 copies of their transcript as qualified students can earn on-spot acceptances, win scholarships, find out about DACA, DREAM Act and more! Students interested can register in advance for this event by clicking on this LINK or by scanning the QR code on the Latino College Expo Flyers attached to this message. Students who need to ride the bus to this event can sign up by completing this FORM (please note this form is only to sign up for the bus, not to register for the event). Students and families can also drive together to this event.
- Next, the Chaffey Joint Union High School District is once again working in partnership with the Fontana Unified School District to sponsor the Annual Regional College & Career Fair. The Regional College and Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, October 8th this time at Jurupa Hills High School from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. We expect representatives from approximately 70 colleges and universities to be in attendance for this event which is free to all our students and their families. Students must register for this event by completing this FORM. Parents and students are encouraged to drive together on their own to this event. However, students can indicate if they need to ride the bus to and from this event when filling out the registration form.
